Jon Grey has stepped down as Wales women’s assistant coach to take charge of the men’s under-18 side, a role he will combine with a new job at Swansea City.
Grey has been appointed as the Swans’ loans and player pathway manager.
Having played youth football for the club in the 1990s, Grey returned as a coach in 2009 and worked with Swansea’s academy in various roles before joining the Wales women’s set-up in 2023.
Working under head coach Rhian Wilkinson, he helped Wales qualify for their first major tournament at last summer’s Euro 2025.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to re-establish my relationship with Swansea City, a club which has always been, and will always be, close to my heart,” said Grey.
“I also want to thank all parties for working together to come to an agreement.
“It allows me to work for my club and my country, and I am excited about the future.”
